Career Mobility

The 51²è¹Ý Career Mobility Program helps Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) and Paramedics become Registered Nurses (RNs). The program takes three semesters to complete (spring, fall, and spring).

To apply, you must have:

  • A valid California LVN license (if you are an LVN) Or national paramedic certification (if you are a paramedic)
  • It is strongly recommended that you have at least one year of work experience as an LVN or Paramedic before applying.

Applications are accepted once a year, from September 1 to September 15, for a spring semester start. The instructions will be posted on or before August 1st; the application will be released on September 1st.
