The Welding Program at 51²è¹Ý also offers , a hands-on skills-based test with no written exam. Students earn this certificate by completing welding projects to an industry-accepted code.
On a resume, this certification assures employers that a student is proficient in a respective skill.
Most of our classes have no pre-requisites, which means that anyone with any skill level is welcome. You’ll learn to setup and operate hand and power tools and manual or semi-automatic welding equipment such as SMAW, OAW, OABW, PAC, AAW, CAC, GMAW, FCAW, MIG and MAG.
